Food Regulatory

Food regulations in most countries are generally very complex and involve most branches of their respective governments. In the US, the process is even more complex because of the number of agencies involved in one or more aspect of control over one or more segments of our food supply chain.

These rules and regulations are frequently changed or modified, with companies required to be in compliance rapidly.

Food Regulatory support and updating is a core competency of Flanyak Scientific.

Dr. Flanyak's regulatory expertise encompasses the following:

1. Requirements for the "proper" labeling of food products

2. Developing the proper ingredient copy

3. Developing the proper "Nutrition Facts" panel through database analysis

4. Requirements for nutrient content claims or health claims

5. Requirements for Standard of Identity (SOI) products

6. Requirements for Dietary Supplements

7. Requirements for Country of Origin (COO) labeling

8. Requirements for Organic Labeling

9. Requirements for allergen labeling
